I’d be lying if I said my ongoing preoccupation with being a Francophile has nothing to do with fashion. Chanel, Dior and Chloé are style nirvana that I’ll probably never reach so for now my French fixation starts and ends with The Kooples. Their brand of contempo-cool meets Parisian chic has taken a more softly softly approach this season.
Sugar almond-hued shirts, superfine knitwear with their signature zips and grown up tailoring. Topped with some spiked heels á la Carine Roitfeld, I’ll be a step closer to fulfilling my Parisian dream, sartorially at least.
